WWI WW1 Imperial German Prussian Iron Cross 2nd Class Cased NICE.
A very nice example of the WWI Imperial German/Prussian Iron Cross second class. This example is complete with its original black & white ribbon and still remains in its original issue case.
The inside of the case features a white silk liner on which is printed the statement “Zur Erinnerung an den Weltkrieg” which roughly translates to “To Commemorate the World War.”
The cross itself remains in fantastic, unissued condition showing minimal wear from storage over the years. Overall, a lovely cross that is becoming harder and harder to find with its original case of issue. One that would be extremely difficult to upgrade.
