WWI GERMAN 1914 IRON CROSS/BAVARIAN WAR MERIT CROSS 5-PLACE RIBBON BAR

Description

This is a fine World War I German 1914 Prussian Iron Cross 5-Place ribbon bar that is in very good condition. It consists of double draped ½ inch wide ribbons for the Prussian 1914 Iron Cross 2nd Class, the Bavarian War Merit Cross, the 1914 -1918 Hindenburg Honor Cross with swords for combatant, a Bavarian Long Service Medal, and the Austrian Anschluss Medal. The ribbons are with very good color but a little faded and bit dingy from the years. The reverse is faced with a turquoise blue, ribbed rayon type material and retains the pin and catch assemblies both of which are functional. The bar measures 3½ inches in length and remains in very good, undamaged condition.
