    Description

    This is a nice World War I German 1914 Iron Cross 1st Class that is in very good condition. It is an ever so slightly vaulted piece with a nice stove black, magnetic iron center and a beautifully age toned silver frame. The raised, serrated bead on the frame is very well defined and with crisp detail. The reverse is without any maker or silver content marks, but the frame appears to be made of real silver. The flat pin assembly is completely functional and of the classic World War I manufacture. There is no separation at the seam or any other problems with this cross. It remains an attractive example in excellent, undamaged condition.
