    Description

    WWI GERMAN 1914 IRON CROSS 1st CLASS VAULTED SCREW BACK “800"/ 4 Piece Construction. This is great piece that is multi-construction consisting of of 4 pieces. Large disk double threaded screw back. Magnetic core. Two original bronze nuts. Reverse is hallmarked, “800”. Also, it appears the reverse also has a very thin coat of old varnish applied to it. Why this was done is a mystery and perhaps could be carefully removed if you wish.
