    From Col. Jack Novak's estate (West Point Class Of 1943), an interesting W.W. 1 14kt gold pideon service lapel pin that was reportedly given to him by a commander who served in the AEF in 1917-1918 - I've never seen these before - (see condition above). I believe Jack told me his name but I've forgotten it.  Newly minted Lt. Novak was assigned to Gen. Eisenhower's staff in England as a pilot (under Gen. Smith).
