Vintage Steiff RARE Witte Uhl Owl Promo Blank Button & Flag @1950 10cm

For your consideration: Vintage Steiff Rare "Witte Uhl" (White Owl) Promo @1950 10cm, or 4"T
From the top shelf of my collection, this is not Wittie. He, along with a purple Witte, were made as promo items for
"White Owl" cigar co., in Germany. The purple one was made in 1960...this guy was made in 1950 (as his blank button
signifies), so although the 2 colors are catalogued, this one may have been a "try out". In any event, he is pretty special.
He is beautifully airbrushed, (all spots are present) mohair made with a swivel head, green glow in the dark eyes, a felt
beak  & fluffy white face with two black tufts on top of his head. He has felt wings, both of which have the original German
writing on them (please don't expect me to translate, but certain am I it has to do with cigars). He has his wire reinforced
felt tail & feet and still has the string that once held his chest tag. He also retains his Blank Button , which are quite
rare also, with legible short flag attached. His ean is #4310...I think his condition is wonderful &
I'm selling him because of a financial hardship. Please refer to the pictures as they are important to my description.
