Vintage 1950s Steiff 12 inch Hippo Mockie with Tags

Description

Fabulous Vintage 1950s Original Steiff Hippopotamus "Mockie".  In fantastic condition with two wooden teeth and glass eyes.  Mockie has a vintage Steiff tag around her neck marked on the front with her name and the back "Mottenecht Durch Eulan Bayer Leverkusen" meaning Moth Proof by Eurlan Bayer Leverkusen, Germany.  She also has an original yellow fabric ear tag held in place with a Steiff insignia button. One side of the yellow tag is printed "Outer covering 59% wool and 41% cotton" and on the other side,  "Steiff original 1322,0 Made in Germany".
Mockie measures ~12 inches long from the tip of her tail to the tip of her nose and shw stands ~6 inches high.
Mockie is a rare find in this condition.  She is part of my Aunt's collection of Vintage Steiff animals that I am beginning to sell.
