Description
For your consideration is this extremely rare WWI Cross of Honor of the German Field Artillery Veterans Association. The German Field Artillery Veterans Association was founded in 1920. The cross was instituted, in a single class, as an award for the Veterans of the German Field Artillery who served during WWI. Just like the majority of the German awards and decorations of the Weimar Republic era, these crosses had to be purchased by the recipients themselves, and they were banned in 1935 by the Nazi regime. This is a full size medal, and is missing the ribbon. Ribbons for this and other medals of the era can be purchased on this site and others - an abundance of old stock is still available. A quick google search will show the two ribbon types used for this medal. It's in very good condition, and does appear to have been cleaned at some point. It's guaranteed to be original, authentic, and as advertised.Buy from us with confidence. We've been on eBay since 1998, and pride ourselves on 100% customer satisfaction.
