ALRIGHT!!!!!! Here it is, the Holy Grail Of DAC collectibles - the much fabled, but rarely seen book “This Is David Allan Coe”. I got this at his concert in early 1997 here in Austin at the now defunct Hang Em High Saloon.
This is the elusive autographed edition. Not sure how many DAC signed, but I know the signed ones were only available at his shows & for a VERY short time.
It’s very much in the same condition now that it was when the lady running the merch table handed it to me 24 years ago. There’s some minor crinkling on the front cover along the spine, which I can only assume happened during manufacturing - It’s pretty unnoticeable unless you look at it at an angle with the light reflecting off of it. There’s a couple minor creases (no folds) & standard visible wear that happens to books during their first quarter of a century off the printing press. Every one of the 324 (!!!!!!) pages are intact & in VG-VG+ condition.
I chose the Buy It Now price of 0 because (condition wise) it’s in MUCH better condition than the copy that sold for 0, but not as pristine as the copy that sold for 0.
The book will be meticulously packaged to ensure its safe arrival to its new home.
