  • Condition: This book is in worn condition mainly to the covers. There is a bit of white soiling on the front cover and some small dents near the bottom spine corner on the rear cover. Light rubbing to corners, but no fraying to spine ends. Exposure just beginning on bottom corners, but no bumps to corners. Top front corner has been nibbled on by a mouse, leaving the corner exposed. Inscription on front blank page dated 1916, otherwise clean interior with no other markings or soiling. There is a 1/4-inch spot on the fore-edge of the pages that bleed into the margins of pages 123 to the end of the book. No damage to pages. All illustrations are present. Rear hinge is cracked and blank end page is missing. Binding still remains tight and square.
