    Description

    Beautiful and rare WW1 Bavarian cross medal, 3rd class, military combat, with crossed swords, imperial crown and original ribbon.  Only 73,000 of these were awarded during WW1.  Hand-picked from a reputable German dealer in Munich years ago.  Highly collectible, Bavaria contributed one of the largest armies to the German forces in WW1 fought mostly on the western front and in the Alps.   See pictures.
