Rare Hand-Signed Belleek Shamrock Ornament Silk Cord Ireland Bonus Trinket Box

Description

This Belleek Shamrock Ornament with matching silk cord is simply lovely. The green painted porcelain shimmers, and the soft green silk cord perfectly matches in color. The shamrock leaves are not flat, but slightly curled. A subtle darker green line is painted in the center of each leaf, giving added dimension. The piece is hand-painted on the back in tiny lettering, with the initials "SUG", "M2" (for second millenium), and "Ireland". Measures approx. 2" x 2" x 1/4" deep; cord approx. 4-1/2" long.
Included as a bonus is a Belleek Trinket Box that makes an ideal storage container for the ornament. The trinket box was broken but has been carefully glued so that the damage is apparent only on close examination, and from one side only. Box measures approx. 3-3/4" x 2-1/4" x 3" high.
