RARE Antique Fountaine Water Spout 1920 Recesso Ware Dauphin Art Nouveau Tile
This dauphin  Water Spout is a very unusual and by all accounts rare unglazed piece of the english manufacturer: Richards tiles - called Recesso Ware . Made  sometime in the 1920's. Never used It could  bee recessed into a wall of a bathroom or a fountain, or would make up any collection of  art nouveau / deco tiles. It is stamped on the back rim, with brand name and shape numbers. The base measures 4"/10cm square. Even though Richards made many items of architectural ceramics I bet there are not many left intact ?
