Pr Large Ornate Russian Silver Plate Candlesticks Lions & Forked Tongue Serpents

Description

Here's a pair of large and ornate antique four-footed silver plated candlesticks from Russia or possibly Poland.  The designs at the bottom sections are of four lions confronting forked-tongue serpents or snakes.  The middle sections are of four palm trees.
The candlesticks measure 13½ inches tall and 5½ inches square at the feet.  Together they weigh 7 pounds before packaging.
There are no labels or maker's marks.
Both pieces are in excellent condition with no dings, damage or discoloration and very little loss to the plating.

SHIPPING POLICY: In most cases I will ship the next business day after receiving cleared payment. Domestic shipping may be via UPS, FedEx or USPS.  Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is more expensive; please ask for quote.

I am happy to ship to most countries, just be aware that I will only ship using methods that provide for insurance, such as USPS Priority Mail International, so adjust your bids accordingly. I am unable to consider any shipping method in which the shipment cannot be insured. International bidders please contact me for a shipping price.
