Pair of Antique French Louis XV Style Silver Plate Five-Light Candelabras – 19 inches
This pair of Candelabras is impressive in their size, weight & elaborate Regence decorative casting!  This is an example of my Mother at her most grandiose, for sure.  Her love of silver & lots of it is evidenced in the elaborately decorated beauty of these candelabras.  We believe them to be very good copies of the 18
th
century French artistic movement – Regence, which was characterized by elaborate high relief detailing.  They measure 19 inches in height & 15 inches across.  They are 5 arm candleholders. We show them in the photos with 12-inch candles.  They were used for my Mother’s dress-up parties – if her banquet table was used full size, they flanked each end or on top of the ends of a long 3 section mirror plateau.  Regardless of how they are used, they are lovely.  We have used them on our Easter table with a single raised mirrored plateau.  They will arrive in excellent antique condition.  They are lovely!
