    I got this as an Eagle Scout gift.
    Otagiri produced stoneware and ceramic pottery from the 1950's to about 1994. They were purchased by Enesco. Otagiri is a United States registered copyright and trademark. Otagiri was headquartered out ouf California, USA and production was out of Japan. They were popular amoung the West Coast of North America.
