The Honour Cross for Merit 2nd Class of the Prussian State Veteran's Association
(Ehrenkreuz für Verdienste 2.Klasse des Preußischen Landes-Kriegerverbandes)

Instituted 16 August 1921 in two classes. Awarded for meritorous service in Prussian State
Veteran´s Association PLKV until 1933. Members with more than 10 years of service,
or over 70 years of age were also eligible to receive this award.
While Weimar era awards are quite common, as they were produced in high volumes and given
literally to anybody willing to pay for it, this is quite scarce award, which was issued for free
only to 10% of Prussian veterans, members of PLKV (Preußischen Landes-Kriegerverband).
The letters PLKV are situated between the cross arms on both sides of the cross.
Material: silvered non-magnetic metal.
Width ca. 44 mm.
Marked on the suspension ring at the reverse side for company H. TIMM, Berlin.
