    Description

    This is a phenomenal piece of history, a Bible that was carried through the Civil War in the Western Theater.
    The Bible belonged to William B Webster of Company F 9th Iowa Infantry Regiment as noted in the front cover of the Bible. He served from September 1861 to September 1864 in the 9th Iowa. He was a veteran of: Pea Ridge, Missionary Ridge, Arkansas, Vicksburg, and finished up in Atlanta when the 9th gave it's veterans the choice of reenlisting or going home, William went home.
