You are bidding on a wonderfully preserved original pilot badge in a very rare form.
In 1917 the Hungarian St. Stephanjs crown was added to the Austrian pilot badge.
The background was to strengthen the patriotic feelings of the Hungarians who were part of the Eastern Empire.
The monogram K stands for Emperor Karl I. A really extremely rare and beautiful pilot's badge.
