    Description

    This medal was instituted by Georg Victor (G.V.) and was awarded for special meritorious service to military and civilian personnel. Awarded throughout WWI as silvered metal alloy and discontinued in 1918. The MEDAL is scarce as the population in Waldeck Pyrmont during WWI was below 60K inhabitants.
