LARGER VINTAGE RECLINING STEIFF TIGER CUB, PAPER TAG, GLASS EYES 14" X 6" MOHAIR

Description

This is a great vintage mohair Steiff tiger cub that is reclining. It is larger than most, being about 14" long, 9" wide and 6" tall and has great markings. It has the original paper tag at it's neck, with handwriting on the back of it, which is hard to read, but it looks like: seven "lucky" #309 Brennon in ink and under that in pencil is 11.95, which I believe to be the original price (a lot of money in those days). It is in excellent used condition, at first I thought the nose had some holes, but it turns out there are bits of mohair sticking through the sticthed nose, it is intact.(see last photo). Please look at the photos carefully as part of the description.
It will cost more to ship from Oregon due to the larger size box for it.
Payment is due within 2 days of closing, I prefer Pay Pal. I don't charge for handling, just the shipping cost, I have no control over the shipping cost. I enter the actual weight of the package and E Bay calculates how much it will cost to go from my zip code to yours. If it seems excessive, it is just due to where you live and the weight of the package. I will offer a second shipping option if it might be cheaper. My goal is to get items to you undamaged, but I have received many items broken, the post office is not very careful I've discovered. If something arrives and the box looks like it's been mishandled, please take a photo, then if there is damage get a photo of the damage and send these to me so I can start a claim. You will receive your refund but you will need to hold on to the item and the packaging until it is settled.
