    The Medal was awarded on the occasion of a parade to mark King Karl’s birthday on 7 March 1867
    to those who fought in the Austro-Prussian war of 1866 in which W

    The obverse with the crowned cipher of King Karl centrally within a circular laurel wreath.
    The reverse with an Amazon shield imposed on crossed swords and inscribed
    "Für treuen Dienst in einem Feldzuge"
    (for Loyal Service in One Campaign).
    Material: Bronze.
    Diameter: 30 mm.
