Offered today is a SUPER RARE and elusive Confederate General John H. Kelly War-Date Signed document. Kelly was the 2nd youngest CSA General ever appointed at the age of 23. He also has the distinction of being the youngest CSA General killed at the age of 24. At the time of his death, this young man was leading an entire Division of Calvary. The framed document offered is a forage request dating to June 1864 and is signed in the bottom right corner, "Approved / J.H. Kelly / Brig Genl Commanding". The document has some old water staining on it, but none of it affects the most important part, General Kelly's signature. You could search an entire lifetime and never come across a Kelly signed item, he remains one of the most elusive Confederate Generals to obtain. The document is framed with a reproductions photo of General Kelly and it measures approximately 22" X 18". It's ready to hang on the wall! All items are guaranteed to be authentic and backed by a lifetime guarantee, so buy with confidence!
