    Description

    Saxony, Kingdom. A War Commemorative Cross for 1866
    (Erinnerungskreuz für 1866). Instituted on 22 May 1867. A bronze cross, with bundles of rays in triangular form between the arms, the obverse centre presents the crowned letters JR encircled by a wreath of oak leaf branches, the reverse presents the date 1866 encircled by a wreath of oak leaf branches, measuring 30.22 mm (w) x 30.39 mm (h), on loop for suspension from replacement combatant ribbon.
