  • Condition: This came on a ford 540 incher that was in a boat i bought . I am putting the 540 in a high boy truck i have so i am unable to use this . It has some rust so we sanded some off and cleared it . It would be good if you painted it all to keep it from rusting again or had it chromed . It has flapper doors to prevent oil coming away from the pump . It comes with the bassett pick up and a high volume pump ??? Not sure of brand of pump. The pick up and pump were blasted of some surface rust and need to be washed good before use . The pump looks good to me but check with your engine builder . The pick up came out with cleaning so you might want to tack weld it before installing after finding the correct location.The pan new cost 5.00 the pick up is $ 125.00 and i would think the pump would be $ 100.00 or more

    Description

    This fixed price  action is for a ford 429 460 Bassett 10 quart boat oil pan with trap doors and pick up and pump . Has some rusting on out side Been sanded and cleared but should be painted or chromed . I took it off a 540 that i bought out of a boat that made 640 hp . I am putting the 540 in my dads old 1975 ford 4x4 high boy and can't use this or i would .

I will not box it and you shipper will be responsible for that also. If you don't want to pay for that i am good with that and always welcome free local pick up.  Shipping is always an issue but i don't control what they charge me or do i do enough business for them to let me have an account. If you can negotiate a lower price with them then do so.It seams to me that buyer that question my shipping cost first never leave there zip code and in more cases it is more than what i am offering!
