For your consideration we are pleased to offer a gorgeous finely detailed antique pair of four light Rococo Revival candelabra by Gorham Manufacturing Co. Created circa 1895, this set is absolutely exquisite with the elaborate weighted candlestick base cast with rocaille and florals, three scrolling candle arms centered on a fourth candle sconce with flambeau finial snuffer, and finished overall with heavy floral decoration. Substantial in size and proportion, each candelabra stands approximately 12.5”, spans 11.5”, weighs 4.5 pounds, and holds 4 standard tapers. The condition is exceptional in every regard with no dents, dings, rub marks, plate loss, prior repairs, or other compromising imperfections found. Expected mild surface scratching is evident on inspection, along with light staining from wax residue to the interior of the candle cups. The silver polishes to a clear and brilliant luster, the original Gorham hallmark is stamped in the base and denotes pattern 31620.
