    Description

This a piece of real. American history. It is a soldier carried civil war diary.  It has been transcribed by the Smithsonian. The transcription is included.  The diary is in good shape. There are no tears. A little peeling on the back. The written pages are brite and readable. This diary tells of a battle Rich Mountain Pass.  The pvt who wrote the text was Pvt  Valentine Thuma.  This has been stored by my family for about  sixty years. Most of it spent in a dark drawer. It’s time to share. I will answer any questions you have if I know the answer.
