    Description

    O
ffered is a really interesting original Civil War 5th Pennsylvania Infantry Regiment Reserve Corps
August 1862 document for transferring ordnance equipment at Harrison's Landing including Springfield Rifle Muskets. Presumably, this issue would have been for losses incurred during the 1862 Peninsula Campaign. This might be a true copy of an original as the date is 1863 rather than 1862 as it should be. I am not positive. Regardless, this document reflects the type of weapons that were issued to the 5th PA at the time.
