Hello my friends.
This was a big day in my character development.
I was in seventh grade. Waited in line to meet one of my favorite band members.
I finally got there and Chester told his crew, “Yo guys, this kid is awesome, he has his ear pierced!”
I smiled dumbstruck and in love and confident and ready for the amazing show they were to perform that night.
Chester remains a big inspiration for me to this day, 20 years later. For his fight against sex trafficking. I wish his life had not been taken 🙏🏽
This is from a big music festival we had outside of Chicago. It was called Jamboree, brought to us by the radio station Q101.
