Antique Vintage Reticulated Quadruple Silverplate Candle Holder with Glass Shade

I'm not sure of the age of this piece, but it is really simple, elegant and useful.
The candle holder is made of quadruple silverplate. The bottom is reticulated and holds a clear glass shade. The shade seems to be original to the holder.
The bottom has a mark SSS. I've been unable to learn more about the company that made this.
The overall height is 11-1/8”
The base is 4” in diameter.
The opening of the shade is 3” in diameter.
The sample candle in the holder is an 8” candle. (Candle not included.)
Condition
:
Glass in perfect condition.
The base could use a bit more polishing, but I don't want to be too aggressive.
