For sale a Antique Victorian Silverplate Mechanical Candle Snuffer Wick Trimmer Scissors. Nice unusual piece. Made out of a silver plated metal. The only mark I could fine is a H. They measure just under 7 1/2 inches long. They sit on a table as shown open. When you put your fingers in the loops to close it like you would a pair of scissors the side panel goes in and the wick trimmer raises up. When let loose it goes back down and open. Fragile so I would handle with care when using. Some silver plating wear to the feet and over all age wear with some scuffs. Please view all photos closely for details. Thanks Meg
