    For your consideration is this superb and wonderfully detailed, nineteenth-century French gilt bronze ornate figural candlesticks in the form of putti/cherub.The cherubs are standing with upwardly out stretched arms and supports the adorned with flowers candlestick, which take the form of vegetation, they stand in a very intricate open worked footed base.The bronze work features flowers and leaves raised in relief.Heavy, great quality cast bronze metal with very detailed casting.The bronze is crisply cast and richly patinated. GORGEOUS extravagant and very VERY lovely!This gorgeous candlestick measures about 7" tall, the base is 3" x 2".This stunning piece is in great antique condition with no cracks. Great patina and detail, no missing parts, no broken parts. There is some small loss to the gold although the majority of it remains.Overall good condition with some surface ware commensurate with age and use. Please look closely at all photos as they are part of the description.The piece looks gorgeous with the candle.Refined elegance simply stated.
