Description

ANHEUSER BUSCH EMERGENCY DRINKING WATER 12 OZ.  ALUMINUM CAN. FULL. Since the beginning of this program in the early 1980's A-B Inc. has donated over 81 million cans of water for national disaster relief programs and firefighters. Fires, Floods, Hurricanes and more. This can was intended for local residents when a contaminated water plant was shut down in Danville, Illinois in 1989. Built near a nuclear production facility on contaminated ground. Uranium and plutonium was found in the local drinking water and the cans were immediately turned over to the Red Cross for distribution. The site took more than 16 years do eradicate. Can shows some wear although it is new and unused. Very good condition with a few small scratches and a dent. Dents and impressions were common on these cans due to lack of carbonation there is no pressure to help keep them stiff and the aluminum is also very thin gauge. Very rare collectible piece of history. Distribution list attached. Can will be wrapped in multiple layers and shipped in a padded flat rate envelope for safety.
