    Description

    A really nice 3 place miniature medal group for a Danish officer who served from the md-1800s through the early 1900s.  It includes a Christian IX Knight of the Order of Dannebrog, a Frederik VII or VIII (hard to tell) Dannebrog Silver Merit Cross and a bronze medal for service in the 1864 war with Prussia.  Really excellent detail on the Knight's Cross.  The Knight's cross and the suspension bar are gold
    (they maxed out my gold tester, which goes up to 18K).  The Knight's cross is approx. 23mm from the tip of the crown to the base and the 1864 medal is approx. 17mm in diameter.  The condition is excellent with no enamel damage and just light to moderate age and patina overall.  You may return this within 14 days of receipt if you are not satisfied for any reason.  Good luck.
