Description

Offered is a mixed lot of 3 Doors postcards as listed below:
1. FDD-18 - Excellent/Postcard/Mailer/

2. FD-50  - Excellent/Postcard/Mailer/
Avalon Ballroom 3/3-4/67
3. FD-84 - Near Mint/Postcard/Bulk Rate/
1601 West Evans, Denver, CO 9/29-30/67
Mailers are considerably rarer than the non-mailed postcards as while postcards were produced in considerable amounts, much fewer of them were actually mailed.  I have researched the internet and found only one dealer who offers only a handful of mailed postcards and is asking on average about 1/3 more for them.  There are those who appreciate that those postcards actually mailed represent the very reason for them being produced.  Most were simply tossed after reading as they were not considered collectibles but simple weekly advertisement.
Eric King’s guide, a must for any serious collector, separately identifies mailed mailers from non-mailed mailers.  I have used this guide as reference.
Mailed postcards are generally not in pristine condition as; well they went through the mail.  Postal carriers often were not fond of the hippie movement that would change the city forever.
Let the pictures be used to determine condition.
I will start the price equal to or lower than the non-mailed postcards being offered and lower the price with each relisting of un-sold cards until I find the eBay market on these.
