    Description

    Up for bids are 3 Documents from the Civil War era.  There is a Discharge Document dated 1865 for William Burke who served in the 77th Regiment of the Pennsylvania Infantry Volunteers along with 2 Pension Certificates.  Pension - dated 1880 - was issued for gunshot wound to abdomen - in the amount of one dollar a month. Pension - dated 1896 - was issued to his widow Catharine Burke in the amount of eight dollars a month. The Discharge Document has yellowed from age and has creases but still looks good.  The Pension Certificates are in very nice condition.  Please look at the pictures carefully as they are part of the description.  If you have any questions, please email.  Thanks for looking!
