    Description

    This is a March1, 1862 Civil War Special Requisition #40 for the 3rd New York Cavalry at Camp Bates near Poolsville, MD.   Receipt includes: 10 pairs of spurs and straps and another "item" we are not allowed to list.  Requested by Capt John F. Moschell, Company B,  approved by Lt Col Simon Mix and received by James R Chamberlain..  Overall very good condition.   Look for the other Civil War paper we are listing to combine shipping.
