    This 2 page 12 x 8 inch document contains a list of the property confiscated by the U. S. Government when the Union Army invaded Port Royal in November 1861.  It includes, 174 slaves who are named and have their ages listed, Cotton, Land, Boats, Household Items, etc. The Document is signed by John Fripp, P. S. Jacobs, Francis W. Fickling and W. A. Chisolm.  Fripp had this document presented to the State of SC hoping they would reimburse him for his losses.  Shipping includes insurance.
